
Dr. Pittenger earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1995 from Texas A&M University. His areas of interest include nutrition, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, internal medicine and computer applications in veterinary medicine. Dr. Pittenger obtained his Diplomate status from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners with a specialty in Canine and Feline Practice in 2006. Dr. Pittenger is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, a past-president of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, (Past President), the Veterinary Information Network, the American Animal Hospital Association, the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and past president of the Association for Veterinary Informatics. He was named the Texas Veterinary Medical Association's Recent Graduate of the Year for 1999. Dr. Pittenger is an avid volunteer for Special Olympics Texas, currently serving on the Board of Directors. Dr. Pittenger and his wife Madeline have two young children.

Dr. Brode is a native Texan and third generation Aggie. She attended Texas A&M University at Galveston and received a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology. Dr. Brode spent a year working with Texas A&M University’s cooperative education department for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Fisheries Service. She was employed at a veterinary clinic while finishing her last year of undergraduate studies which led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After spending a year at Texas A&M University in College Station working on a Master’s in Veterinary Microbiology, Dr. Brode left the program to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brode earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003 and has since worked in small animal private practice prior to accepting a position as a veterinarian at the Canine Health Institute. Her areas of interest include rehabilitation, nutrition, pain management, and stem cell therapy. Dr. Brode is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Information Network, the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians, and the International Association of Veterinary Pain Management. She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee program in August 2009. Dr. Brode and her husband Jeff enjoy outdoor activities and spend free time boating on Lake Conroe.

Kristi graduated Harris County Hospital District (HCHD) School of Medical Radiography in 1993 as a Radiologic Technologist. Most of her training was performed at Ben Taub General Hospital. After graduation, she worked two years at Texas Children’s Hospital. In January 1995 Kristi went to work at the Texas Orthopedic Hospital as an X-ray Technologist and was quickly promoted to CT Technologist. Within 6 months, a position opened in MRI and she jumped at the chance to enter this growing field. Kristi is also certified in Magnetic Resonance. She has worked for 14 years as Chief Technologist before opting to leave the “human side” to care for animals at the Canine Health Institute. Kristi has a beautiful family consisting of her husband Tom, 3 kids, Michelle, Madison, and Justin, one dog (Sadie), and one cat (Sharkbait). Her hobbies include watching her daughters play softball and sing, and her son excel in karate and scouts.

Eva attended Tomball College and received an associate degree in Applied Science in 1996. She passed national and state exams to earn licensing as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She worked in small animal private practice for 16 years prior to accepting a position at the Canine Health Institute. Eva is a member of the Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America. She has completed her course work through the University of Tennessee to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Eva and her twins, Colton and Kenzie, enjoy swimming, bike riding, and playing with their two dogs – Bella and Sully.
